I did not buy it nice, so I’m now buying it twice. My Amazon sleeping pad is great. It’s beautiful. It’s self-inflating. It’s a double bed and it’s thick. The problem is it’s too big and I now hate lugging it down my third floor walk-up now that I’ve been able to camp monthly it’s untenable. Any recs for good, car-to-hike camping sleeping pads. Looking for comfort vs Ultra light!

Non-trendy, but extremely delicious places to have a birthday meal in LA. Any cuisine!

What are you favorite must-do campgrounds? Life-changing things to see. I feel like a newly-minted outdoor cat that’s just eaten its first bird and now I must roam free.

I love camping but the Temu Snow Peak (Naturehike) tent I got broke right away and the pre-connected poles were roomy enough to house a humble population of earwigs. Best tents under $1000? Ideally roomy, could pass for an ADU vibe (in jest, of course).

I’m going camping for the first time and inevitably it will become my personality for the rest of the year. What are must haves to the beginner outdoorsman. A copy of Walden for the vibe already secured.
